Our Programs & Classes

Students and enthusiasts of Karate have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Little Ninjas Karate
Our Little Ninjas program is a very detailed and outlined program for children ages 4-6. This program will help improve your pre-school age child to focus and build basic motor skills while their attention span increases. The Little Ninjas class enhances positive development in a fun and motivating way. Your child will be exposed to positive social interaction as they learn how to work with others and follow directions from their instructors. This program is based on 8 life skills that we emphasize in each class, including, focus, teamwork, control, balance, memory, discipline, fitness and coordination. We know that children at this age are very influential and learn many of things that will last for a lifetime, that is why our instructors are good role models and are specifically trained to work with children of this age.

Youth Beginners Karate
This is our program for ages 7-12 who are beginning our karate system as a white belt. This program will include basic movements, kata learning and self-defense and is a prerequisite to the Ki-Ai KiDS.

Ki-Ai KiDS Karate
Our Children's Curriculum program focuses on Karate basics, basic self-defense, and physical development. We teach stranger danger awareness among other role playing activities with the kids. Courtesy, respect and how to interact with others is also a very important part of this program. Students in this program have achieved Yellow belt and are working towards Jr. Black Belt. Through Karate training your child will build self-esteem as they are encouraged and guided to help them achieve their martial arts goals.

Black Belt Club
This program is for those who are dedicating themselves to earning their Black Belt and have earned the priveledge of being in the Black Belt Club.

Gold Team
Our Guidance on Leadershiop Team. These students have to be selected by an instructor to be eligible for the team. These students learn leadership skills, get to help lead classes and learn the most advanced weapons.

Jr. Black Belt Class
This class is for those Ki-Ai KiDS that have advanced and earned their Jr. Black Belt. This class involves learning great coordination with our Padded Nunchaku Program. These students also attend a half hour session in the adult karate class to help them towards earning their Adult Black Belt.

Adult Karate
Our Adult Curriculum is based on traditional style karate. You will learn old okinawan traditions that transcend to modern ways of living. Built on the 5 maxims of karate (character, sincerity, effort, etiquette and self-control)our program helps you deal with stress, building strength and confidence, and gives you the tools to defend yourself all at the same time. Our emphasis is on building coordination and increasing your focus to be able to deal with not just physical confrontations, but to be more confident in your daily decisions, such as eating habits, exercising daily, and living a healthier life. We will encourage you in class to be your best and help you along to achieve your goals, whether it be fitness, self-defense, increased self-esteem, or just a better social atmosphere. Our staff is always very friendly and ready to help at any time. If you are interested in the sport of Karate, we also are very involved in area tournaments that we attend as frequently as possible. Mastery of Karate's complex body movements, and the confidence gained from facing an opponent, both go a long way in minimizing the physical and emotional challenges we all endure daily.

Fitness Kickboxing
Use boxing gloves, hit the bags and learn how to develop boxing and martial arts techniques in this learn as you go Kickboxing Class. Relieve stress, build muscle and get a great workout!
